Welcome To Nant-Y-Croi Campsite
“Cardigan Bay Caravan And Camping Site.”
The site, which is 150 metres from the farmyard, extends over lush green land gently sloping to the Ceredigeon coast.
There are 11 separate 16amp hook-up pitches along the top of the meadow for caravans or tents (please book in advance). Campers not requiring electricity are welcome to pitch anywhere they wish within the site. There are stunning Cardigan Bay sea views from every pitch so remember to bring your binoculars, as campers often spot dolphins while cooking breakfast or enjoying a barbecue!
There are acres of space for everyone and the site never feels over-crowded, so there is always plenty of room for kite flying and ball games. Children are also welcome to bring bicycles.
There are four toilets for the ladies and two for gentleman, plus two uni-sex/family showers and two adult only showers in the new modern block which are included in the pitch fee. We pride ourselves on ensuring that these facilities are always clean and fresh and are cleaned thoroughly twice daily.
A leisurely stroll past the ponies and donkeys takes you back to the farm courtyard where there are washing up facilities consisting of two sinks. Here you will also find a washing machine and drying facilities along with two fridge freezers which you are welcome to use for food or freezing ice packs.
Barbecue packs and delicious home baked cakes can be purchased in advance from the farmhouse. Milk and Eggs are also available to purchase from the farmhouse.
Gordon enjoys campsite rounds twice daily to make sure everyone is happy. Sometimes Rosie the donkey comes with him and she gives the children rides . Wanda and Ruby, our sweet natured farm terriers love visiting the campers and are always ready for a walk down to the shore for any visitors who offer!
There are no silly rules and regulations and everyone is encouraged to enjoy their stay in the beautiful Welsh countryside. All that we ask is that campers are considerate with regard to noise, especially after 10pm.
Please be aware that telephone reception is poor here, though if you walk up the hill or drive back up the lane, it does get better. There is a farmhouse phone for emergencies only.
